Geremi Seeks Divorce After DNA Reveals Twins Belong to Wife’s Ex

At 45, Geremi expressed profound shock and disappointment upon discovering that the twins, born in June 2008, were not biologically his. Court documents filed in Cameroon cite Laure‘s actions as destructive to the marriage’s harmony, pointing to her deceptive behavior and repeated lies.
The couple’s relationship took a tumultuous turn when Geremi learned the truth, causing irreparable emotional damage and prompting him to seek legal separation. He accused Laure of inflicting psychological harm, leaving him shattered by the betrayal.
Geremi, known for his distinguished career at Chelsea from 2003 to 2007, made 109 appearances for the club and contributed four goals. His tenure at Real Madrid from 1999 to 2003 saw him lift the prestigious Champions League trophy.
Internationally, Geremi was a vital member of the Cameroon squad that clinched back-to-back AFCON titles in 2000 and 2002. Additionally, he played a pivotal role in securing Olympic gold for Cameroon in the football event at the Sydney 2000 Olympics.
