Mohbad’s Tragic Passing: Feyisayo Ogedengbe and Others Under Scrutiny as Prime Suspects

Mohbad, the gifted Nigerian musician, tragically passed away at the young age of 27, sending shockwaves through the music industry. His untimely demise on October 6, 2023, left fans and fellow artists mourning.

In response, the Lagos State Police Command initiated a thorough investigation, with Ms. Feyisayo Ogedengbe, an auxiliary nurse, emerging as the primary suspect. Other figures, including Naira Marley, Sam Larry, Primeboy, and others, were implicated in the case.

Commissioner of Police Idowu Owohunwa revealed that Ms. Ogedengbe administered injections to Mohbad on September 12, containing potent substances. These injections, a cocktail of potent substances including Tetanus toxoid, paracetamol, and cetrazone, were administered within the confines of Mohbad‘s residence. 

Primeboy, a childhood friend of Mohbad, was brought into the spotlight due to a heated altercation between them on September 10, leading to Mohbad‘s injuries.

Mr. Ayobami Sadiq, known as “Spending,” also faced suspicion of involvement in a potential conspiracy. Sam Larry, linked to viral videos discussing bullying and assault, was arrested.

Abdul-Aziz Fashola, a.k.a Naira Marley, was detained for related charges. The investigation continues, leaving the music community in shock and anticipating the truth to surface.
