Mr. Ibu Faces Health Crisis: Speech Struggles After Second Surgery

Acclaimed actor John Okafor, known as Mr. Ibu, is currently facing severe health challenges that have left him struggling to speak. This unfortunate development comes after a recent surgery where a part of the same leg that had undergone amputation a month ago was removed in an attempt to save his health.

Amidst heightened fears within the entertainment industry, another veteran actor, Amaechi Muonagor, is also battling severe health issues. Currently hospitalized at Nnamdi Azikiwe University Teaching Hospital in Nnewi, Anambra State, Muonagor, has been undergoing treatment for over two months.

Dr. Emeka Rollas, the National President of the Actors Guild of Nigeria (AGN), shared an update on the health status of both actors in a telephone interview with Vanguard. Sadly, Dr. Rollas stated, “We are resigning to fate concerning the two actors. As of now, Mr. Ibu hardly talks again, and he has undergone another leg amputation.”
