Teebillz Warns Davido Over Alleged Disrespect to His Family

A Nigerian Music executive, Teebillz, whose real name is Tunji Balogun, took to Instagram on January 8 to deliver a strong message to Afrobeats sensation Davido, accusing him of disrespecting his family. Teebillz, known for managing several top artists, including Tiwa Savage, made it clear that he would not tolerate any disrespect towards his loved ones.

In his Instagram post, Teebillz emphasized the importance of protecting one’s family as a duty and a reflection of a man’s character. He expressed disappointment over what he perceived as Davido‘s disregard for the love and support extended to his daughter by Teebillz, his son Jamil Balogun, and Jamil‘s mother, Tiwa Savage, who happened to be his ex-wife.

The music executive warned Davido against disrespecting his family, asserting they should not be trifled with in Nigeria. Teebillz, in no uncertain terms, declared his intent to teach the Grammy-nominated artist a lesson, highlighting the difference between having money, sense, and respect.

His post read: “My Family is the last one you will ever disrespect in Nigeria… I will teach you a life lesson between having MONEY, SENSE, and RESPECT.“

Teebillz, referencing previous warnings, hinted at a culmination of grievances, indicating that he had given Davido ample chances to rectify his behavior. The music executive concluded his post by pausing any further action until after Davido enjoyed his Grammy win.
