The Legend of Mr. Red’s House

Once upon a time, in a land not too far away, there lived a man named Mr. Red. Now, Mr. Red was not your average Joe; he was quite the character. He had a penchant for all things red, which many believed started from a childhood incident involving a cherry lollipop and a stubborn stain on his favourite white shirt.

Mr. Red’s love for the color red was so intense that he decided to build a house entirely out of red bricks. Thus, the famous Red House was born. The house was a sight to behold with its vibrant red exterior and even redder interior. Mr. Red spared no expense in making sure every detail, from the curtains to the carpets, was a shade of red.

Living in a house made entirely of red bricks might have seemed like a dream come true for Mr. Red, but it came with its challenges. For one, the house would get quite warm during the summer months, and Mr. Red often found himself sweating profusely while lounging on his red velvet couch.

But Mr. Red was resourceful. He installed air conditioning units in every room, which he painted red. This allowed him to enjoy the comfort of his red abode without turning into a human puddle.

As time went on, Mr. Red’s red house became a local legend. People from all over would come to see the magnificent structure, marvelling at its unique design and the sheer dedication of its owner. Mr. Red often gave guided tours of his house, sharing tales of his red adventures and the joys of living in a house that matched his fiery personality.

However, as with all legends, there were sceptics. Some claimed that Mr. Red’s house was cursed and that anyone who entered would be consumed by an insatiable desire for the color red. Others whispered that the house was haunted by the ghost of a former owner who had also been obsessed with the colour red.
