Ramón Luis Estévez (born 7 August 1963), also known as Ramon Estevez, is a gifted actor, screenwriter, and producer from the United States.

Also known as Ramón Sheen, he has appeared in more than 20 films and TV shows as an on-screen personality. However, he is still most famous for playing Gessner in the drama film Cadence in 1990.

The movie, which follows the life of an inmate at an Army stockade, was directed by Ramon Sheen‘s father, Martin Sheen, who also starred alongside Jay Brazeau and Charlie Sheen. It was nominated for a Deauville Film Festival Critics Award.

Early Life & Education 

Ramon Luis Estevez, also known as Ramon Sheen, was born on August 7, 1963, in New York City, New York, Unite States. He is an American citizen and holds the zodiac sign of Leo. 

Along with his siblings Renee Estevez, Charlie Sheen, and Emilio Estevez, he was raised in New York City by their parents, Janet Elizabeth Estevez (his mother better known as Janet Sheen) and Ramon Antonio Gerardo Estevez (his father commonly known as Martin Sheen). 

Ramon Estevez‘s mother is an actress and a film producer, and all three of his siblings are actors and an actress. His father is a successful actor who has received 30 of the 93 awards for which he has been nominated. 

In part, because he looked up to his parents and spent a lot of his free time watching TV, he developed an interest in acting while still a student at a nearby elementary school.

Ramon Estevez attended a local high school, where he participated in the drama club and appeared in numerous productions. He also enjoyed sports and played soccer for his school’s team. 

Ramon Estevez graduated in 1981 but chose to pursue theater instead of attending college.

In the 1982 drama In the Custody of Strangers, which was directed by Robert Greenwald, starred his father, Martin Sheen, Jane Alexander, and his brother Emilio EstevezRamon Estevez made his film debut as Pick. The story revolves around a juvenile offender who stole a car while intoxicated and his parents who opted to let him spend the night in jail, hoping it would help him.

The critically praised 1983 horror science-fiction thriller The Dead Zone, the comedy Delta Pi, and the action drama The Fourth Wise Man were some of Ramon Estevez‘s later roles. 

He portrayed Mike Chambers, one of the main characters, in the Christopher Cain-directed drama That Was Then… This Is Now, which also starred his brother Emilio Estevez, Craig Sheffer, and Larry B. Scott, in the year 1985. It follows two troubled friends. One matures while the other gets engaged in crime and narcotics. 

In 1989, Ramon Estevez made four movie appearances, including the comedies Beverly Hills Brats, A Man of Passion, and the war drama Night of the Eagles.

In the 1990s, he only had a few movie appearances. Still, one of them may have been his part of Mr. Jones in George P. Cosmatos‘ action thriller Shadow Conspiracy, which also starred his brother Charlie Sheen, Donald Sutherland, and Linda Hamilton. It centers on Bishop, the president’s counselor, who must track down the government traitor before he assassinates Bishop

Since then, Ramon Estevez has only been seen in two films: the 2015 horror-thriller Whispers and the 2010 comedy-drama The Way

Ramon Estevez made his television debut in the 1989 episode True Centurians of the action thriller Jesse Hawks, which aired only six episodes before being canceled.

He played Ramon Escalante in the 1991 episode The Devil’s Fortress: Part 2 of the romantic action-adventure series Zorro, which starred Patrice Martinez, Duncan Regehr, and James Victor. The series, which ran from 1990 to 1993 and was nominated for two awards, follows the life of the masked swordsman Zorro as he defends his friends and family from dishonest politicians. 

Ramon Estevez‘s sole other performance in a TV series was his depiction of Reggie in the 2019 episode The Crosswalk of the comedy Grace and Frankie. He first featured as an extra in the drama The West Wing episode Guns Not Butter in 2003.

The series, which was created by Marta Kauffman and Howard J. Morris and starred Jane Fonda, Lily Tomlin, and Sam Waterston, centers on two women who discover that their husbands are having an affair. It has been airing since 2015 and has received 73 nominations, including 13 Primetime Emmy nominations. It has won two of those 73 awards. 

Ramon Estevez has made a guest appearance in an episode of several talk shows, including Revealed with Jules Asner, The Dame Edna Treatment, and E! True Hollywood Story.

After more than ten years of marriage, the two decided to get a divorce. She had three kids for him: Katherine Estévez, Christopher Estévez, and Luis Jr. Estévez. His partner is David Woodbury.

When Ramon Estevez disclosed that he was dating a non-celebrity American man in the second half of the 2010s, he came out as bisexual.

They were engaged in 2020, and internet speculations say they have summer 2022 planned for their wedding.
